A total of 16 talented amateur players have secured coveted spots at the prestigious championship, joining the elite top 16 ranked professionals at the iconic Crucible Theatre. The qualification process will unfold through intense rounds at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield from April 8 to 17, determining who will have the honor of competing alongside the world’s best.

The roster of amateur players includes recent champions from various international events throughout the season. Notable qualifiers encompass Ka Wai Cheung, the triumphant winner of the 2024 WSF Championship in Albania, and Bulcsú Révész, who clinched victory in the 2024 WSF Junior Championship. Their outstanding performances have earned them well-deserved places in the tournament.

The excitement doesn’t end there, as the championship will also see participants emerging from the upcoming World Women’s Snooker Championship in China, the expanded WPBSA Q Tour Global, and other recognized events across the snooker landscape.

The qualifiers also include winners from the WSF Junior Championship, such as Gong Chenzhi and Hamza Ilyas.
