Ronnie O’Sullivan Withdraws from BetVictor Welsh Open; David Grace Also Pulls Out

Due to medical reasons, Ronnie O’Sullivan has opted to withdraw from the upcoming BetVictor Welsh Open scheduled for next week. Originally set to compete against Liam Graham in the first round on Monday at 12:30 pm in Llandudno, O’Sullivan’s absence will now see Graham facing Alfie Davies.

Additionally, David Grace has withdrawn from the event citing personal reasons. His scheduled match against Shaun Murphy on Monday at 12:30 pm will now be contested by Barry Pinches instead. The BetVictor Welsh Open is slated to run from February 12 to 18 at Venue Cymru in Llandudno, Wales.

The prize money breakdown for the BetVictor Welsh Open is as follows:

  • Winner: £80,000
  • Runner-up: £35,000
  • Semi-finals: £17,500
  • Quarter-finals: £11,000
  • Last 16: £7,500
  • Last 32: £4,500
  • Last 64: £3,000
  • High break: £5,000
