Konrad Juszczyszyn emerged victorious as the 2023 Medalla Light Puerto Rico Open champion, clinching his inaugural Predator US Pro Billiard Series title along with a $37,500 prize. In a compelling final, the Polish player triumphed over Roland Garcia of the Philippines in a convincing fashion, securing the victory with sets of 4-2 and 4-1.

This significant win holds a special significance, serving as payback for Poland, given that in the previous year, Carlo Biado of the Philippines had seized the title by defeating Daniel Maciol of Poland.

Juszczyszyn’s journey to the championship was nothing short of impressive. In the semifinals, he bested Aloysius Yapp in two sets, while Roland Garcia secured his spot in the final by overcoming Joshua Filler, also in two sets. Notably, Juszczyszyn’s path to the title included winning seven consecutive matches in two sets, along with a decisive shootout victory against Alex Pagulayan in the winner’s qualification round.
