Kelly Fisher Clinches 6th Predator Pro Billiard Series Title with Resilient Triumph at Medalla Light Puerto Rico Women’s Open

Kelly Fisher showcased her resilience once again, navigating through three consecutive shootouts to emerge victorious at the Medalla Light Puerto Rico Women’s Open. This remarkable achievement secured her unprecedented 6th title in the Predator Pro Billiard Series.

In the quarterfinals, defending champion Wei Tzu Chien triumphed over Rubilen Amit, while Jasmin Ouschan staged a remarkable comeback against the world 10-ball champion Chezka Centeno, clinching victory in an exhilarating shootout. Ouschan’s intense focus was evident as she momentarily overlooked her triumph after the fourth shootout.

Chieh Yu Chou outplayed Wan Lin-Wang, and Kelly Fisher overcame Oliwia Zalewska. Zalewska’s missed winning 10-ball shot in the quarterfinals proved to be a pivotal moment against Fisher.

Despite initially trailing 2-4 in the first set and being down 1-3 in the second, Wei Tzu Chien seized the opportunity presented by Jasmin Ouschan’s scratch, ultimately winning the set and the ensuing shootout. However, Wei couldn’t withstand Kelly Fisher’s prowess in the final, succumbing 4-0, 4-1, as Fisher secured her 6th Predator Pro Billiard Series title. This victory marked her second consecutive win, following her triumph at the Michigan Open in September.

Kelly, who had overcome three shootouts to reach the final, expressed her elation, stating, “I’m absolutely over the moon. I’ve had so many close matches and shootouts; I didn’t expect to win this tournament. Winning the sixth Pro Billiard Series title feels amazing.”
