Ricky Walden’s Strong Performance and Notable Wins in the International Championship Qualifiers

Ricky Walden, the victor of the 2014 International Championship, secured his spot in this year’s competition with an impressive 6-1 victory over Jun Jiang.

Walden, a three-time ranking event champion, exhibited his prowess today by achieving breaks of 88 and 75, sealing a comfortable win. He is set to join a competitive field in Tianjin this November.

Scott Donaldson showcased his skills, recording the highest break of 125, albeit in a 6-4 loss against Louis Heathcote. Meanwhile, Jak Jones, a Crucible quarter-finalist, dominated Aaron Hill with a 6-2 win, showcasing top runs of 99, 96, 88, and 124. Oliver Lines orchestrated a comeback from a 3-0 deficit to defeat Lukas Kleckers 6-4, displaying breaks of 76, 69, 65, and 94.
