Milkins, Bingham, and Hill Shine in Wuhan Open Qualifying Round 2

On the second day of qualifying for the Wuhan Open, Robert Milkins and Stuart Bingham secured their spots in the upcoming final stages of this new world ranking event set to take place in China next month.

Milkins, the reigning Welsh Open champion, displayed his prowess by defeating Zak Surety 5-2, with his highest break reaching 52. Meanwhile, former Crucible champion Bingham showcased his skills with impressive runs of 70, 73, 92, and 78, ultimately triumphing over James Cahill with a score of 5-3.

Aaron Hill achieved a significant milestone in his career by recording his highest break ever, an impressive 145, during his dominating 5-0 victory over Joe Perry. The young Irish talent also compiled runs of 64 and 89.

Sanderson Lam continued to impress with a strong start to the season, as he secured a 5-3 victory over Tian Pengfei, highlighted by a top break of 132. Stuart Carrington displayed his cue prowess with breaks of 107, 111, 79, and 54, ultimately defeating Fan Zhengyi with a score of 5-1.
