The wildcards for the upcoming Shanghai Masters, selected by the CBSA, have been officially confirmed. One of the standout players to secure a spot in the prestigious invitational event is the 20-year-old sensation Bai Yulu.

These wildcard entries were determined based on the performances at the recent CBSA U21 Event held in Dongguan, Guangdong Province. Bai Yulu, who was the runner-up in the World Women’s Championship, was among the four players who successfully earned their place.

The qualifiers from the CBSA U21 Event are as follows:

  • Deng Haohui
  • Dong Zihao
  • Bai Yulu
  • Gong Chenzhi

The next step for these players involves being drawn into the wildcard slots. They will then go on to face opponents such as Ali Carter, Robert Milkins, John Higgins, or Hossein Vafaei. This draw is scheduled to take place during the opening ceremony before the event officially begins.
